This collage uses the recycled offcuts from a sheet of washi used for my woodblock prints. I showcase the deckled edge of this handmade paper as the crest of waves. A series of light acrylic washes reveals the texture and unique absorption quality of this beautiful paper. The washi is mounted on a heavy bristol paper with archival adhesive.
