This is a reproduction of the original woodcut by Albrecht Dürer from the early 16th century. I used Japanese cherry and traditional carving knives and chisels for the carving of this block. I printed this image using oil based ink on handmade gampi paper from Japan. The impression was taken by hand using a traditional Hon baren which is handmade from Japan.
