This woodblock print was my first reduction print made on my new printing press. This image took twelve impressions reduced down from a single block. After each color, more wood is carved away leaving the last color applied to the paper. The inspiration for this print was from a small sketch I made while enjoying a sunset with my son in the Bronx, NY.
